Made of recycled PET bottles

For Project Everyone, a non-profit organisation with the mission to ensure that everyone on the planet knows what the Global Sustainable Development Goals are, we 3D-printed two awards made of PET bottles, car dashboards and recycled perspex. The award was handed out on the bottom of the Ocean to make a statement.

For this award, we took the challenge to design and build 20 awards made only from waste plastic found on their planes. The top of the award was 3D-printed from bottles finished with rubber straps, the base made from compressed shopping bags and blanket wraps.

Since 2018 we design and manufacture the Circular Award for NederlandCirculair! Every year the award has an unique material storyline, for example with the 2020 trophy we experimented with old christmas ornaments to create explosive and evocative textures. Turning old forgotten glory into new circular glory.

We had the pleasure to design and produce sustainable SPAR awards. They are made with recycled filament which is made from recycled PET bottles. We’ve used 6 green bottles, 5 transparent bottles and an old oak wood – all per award!
